I worked as a Medical Researcher for ten years, investigating immunity, the endocrine system (hormones) and the biochemical processes that linked the two.
When I completed my PhD, it was assumed by my Professors, that I would then study medicine.
But my interest was in natural, holistic approaches to health.
This was sparked in the 8-year-old me, by a visit to a Chiropractor.
He impressed on me (in a very direct Australian way!) that living a healthy lifestyle was the key to health.
It gives us all the best chance of enjoying a happy, fulfilled life.
The ability of your body to heal is much greater than we have been permitted to believe.
