NEW MILTON CHIROPRACTIC CLINIC
WELCOMES NATASHA OUR NEW MASSAGE THERAPIST
Some of you will already know that Lara Brierley our current massage therapist is leaving at the end of April 2010. She is looking forward to a new baby in June and is hoping to return to Canada with her husband Paul this year. We are very sad to say goodbye to her as we are sure you all are, but we wish her all the happiness of starting a new family.
We are very lucky to have found a lovely local lady replacement Natasha Kenworthy who trained with the London School of Sports Massage in 2003-2004 and is a member of the Institute of Sports and Remedial Massage.
She currently works from her home in Bournemouth and is looking forward to working within the clinic as part of our team. Natasha also works at, Bournemouth Hospital as a Physiotherapy Assistant working mainly with neurological / stroke patients.
She is used to tailoring the massage to the specific needs of the client incorporating a postural assessment and also giving advice regarding excercises and stretching to compliment her massage. She will continue the current liaison between massage therapist and both chiropractors, Jon & Kermin regarding treatment regimes and progress.
Natasha will initially be working Monday mornings and Tuesday afternoons with a view to adding another afternoon session as she gets busier. The treatment prices will remain the same which is £19.00 per half an hour session. Treatments can be 1/2, 3/4 or 1 hour as requested.
She looks forward to providing you with the massage treatment and care that you require.
-
Deep Tissue Massage - Some of us just like full body, deep treatment. Maybe you're not into sport and just love a good, thorough massage. Well this is definitely for you!
-
Friction - Massage can be done through clothes, by targeting trigger points to release tension. Although this technique usually works best along side more fluid techniques, if you'd prefer you can stay fully clothed.
-
Muscle energy Technique - Muscles work in pairs. This technique works the opposing muscle to help release tension in the problem area.
-
Soft Tissue Release - A great technique to rid muscle of scar tissue, adhesions and tension. By moving the joints during a friction type massage, a deeper release is achievable.
